TLDR: We don’t store your data, period.
TKDR2: We use analytic apps solely for improving your app experiences. Thanks to these tools, We fixed many critical bugs/crashes before our users eventually report them.
Some apps may store information which are saved locally in your device and which can only be used locally by that application. Developer has absolute zero access to any of these data.
Search features on some apps allow user to input information in plain text form and/or input from map interface. Most search/input coordinates features (within supported formats) will only do all calculations locally inside the device without transmitting data outside the device. (For example, Latitude and Longitude to coordinates formats such as MGRS, UTM, etc.)
Current location feature is provide for user convenience only. Developer doesn't have any access to location data.
However, some apps do requires input to be sent to 3rd party server, which does extra calculation. Those data are not stored by us in anyway, but may be collected by these third party providers.
Elevation, HeightMap and ThaiElevation app do use Google Elevation API which is bounded by Google’s Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
Plain text search (ex. Address, city, or country name) does use
Google API which is bounded by Google’s Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
CoreLocation feature by Apple, which is bounded by Apple’s Privacy Policy
App with search feature may also support What3Words search, which is bounded by What3Words's Terms & Conditions and What3Words's Privacy Policy
Advertising:
We also use third party advertisements on our apps to support our applications. Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our apps, which will also send these advertisers (such as Google through the Google AdSense program and mediation services through Admob) information including your IP address, your ISP , and the device model you used to visit our site. This is generally used for geotargeting purposes (showing New York real estate ads to someone in New York, for example) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited (such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking sites).
We also use third party crash reporting tools to improves our apps stability. Some of these providers may collect anonymous crash log information including your IP address, your ISP , and the device model you installed the app on.
For Elevation version 3.0 or later, we use our own server to store Elevation database where data are provided by JAXA. Coordinates value need to be submit to our server to obtain elevation data, but we do not collect these coordinates value in anyway.
FOR EU users:
To comply with GDPR and new set of rules for EU users. According to Google SDK, all users are expected to receive non-personalised ads offered by only these Google Ads Partners.
