Measuring area and distance on the map, made easy with this app.
VERSION 3.0. Now it’s possible to draw any freeform shape as long as it’s closed shape. You no longer need to place center pin. Tutorial below is left here for reference only
Although it's possible to start drawing shape directly (Rectangular/Triangle Shape) Here is instruction to get the most accurate result when drawing more complex shape
1. Begin with center pin
Press "+" button to start pinning your first pin. Please make sure that this pin would locate at the center of the shape, that would make remaining process much easier and more accurate.
2. Keep pinning more
It's recommended to drop each pin by keeping the same clockwise / counterclockwise direction to draw closed path.
Please make sure that dark red area is not overlapped or the result will not be accurate.
3. Finished the shape
If the shape doesn't contain any overlapping area, the area is guaranteed to be 100% correct. Press "Unit" button to switch between desired unit if needed.
EX 1. Save/Load
Press "List" button to access this menu. You could to these tasks here:
- Save/Load coordinates list in your device and access it later
- Export .gpx file to email
- Export coordinates list to email
- Delete all coordinates
EX 2. Direct edit
Press "Edit" button to access this menu. You could to these tasks here:
- Make changes to coordinates list with this plain text editor. You could copy/paste and make required changes within 3rd-party text editor.
